The right relationships are half the deal
Trust, business acumen and the ability to find common ground.
Some opportunities don't move forward because the commercial terms are wrong. Others stall because the right people haven't been in the room yet — or because the person leading the conversation doesn't have the trust of the other side. Jernej has spent 20+ years building relationships across the CEE media landscape — with commercial partners, regulatory bodies and collective societies. He understands how they think, what they need and where there is room to move. Trust often opens doors that money can't.
What we do
Content negotiations
Negotiating agreements with FTA channels, Pay TV providers, content rights holders and streaming platforms — on behalf of operators, telcos or investors.
Collective societies
Navigating the complex world of collective rights management — understanding the frameworks, the players and where there is room to move.
Operator & telco agreements
Structuring and negotiating distribution and carriage agreements between content owners, cable operators and IPTV providers.
Regulatory stakeholder engagement
Engaging with regulatory bodies, ministries and industry associations on policy, licensing and market conditions — including representation in legislative processes such as the Media Act (Zmed), Copyright law (ZASP) and the Act on Collective Management of Copyright (ZKUASP).
Industry influence & positioning
Helping companies build their reputation and voice in the CEE media industry — through the right platforms, associations and relationships.
Deal structuring & facilitation
Bringing parties together, framing the commercial logic and keeping complex multi-party deals moving toward a close.
A position built on 20+ years of relationships — not just a title
Jernej currently serves as President of the Association of Slovenian Operators of Digital Television Services (ZSODT-GIZ) — representing the collective interests of Slovenia's major telcos/IPTV providers in negotiations with rights holders, collective societies and regulatory bodies. It is a role that reflects both the depth of his industry knowledge and the level of trust his peers place in him.
